Hi, I'm Matt.

I make digital products that people actually use, and I've been doing it for a long time.

I live in Edinburgh. Right now I'm at Velosco Energy in CodeBase, building software that helps people optimise wind farms and make better decisions about them.

Before that I led product at FutureLearn and PebblePad, and I founded, built and sold Coursensu. I've also been running Learning Circuits, a free site that teaches kids about electricity, since 2004. My latest side project is Yumma, a map of good cheap meals in UK cities.

I like working out what's worth building, then building it properly. Outside of work you'll find me volunteering, fixing things, or hunting for a decent lunch under £12.
